In light of the impending arrival of the big day, I thought it would be fun to showcase the top prize winners from the three previous Vendy Awards:
Thiru Kumar, “The Dosa Man,” (Washington Square South and Sullivan St.) won the top prize at the Vendy Awards in 2007.
Samiul Haque Noor from “Sammy’s Halal” (73rd St. and Broadway, Queens) won the top prize at the Vendy Awards in 2006.
Rolf Babiel of “Hallo Berlin” (54th St. and 5th Ave.) won the top prize at the Vendy Awards in 2005.
