Got to see an advance screening of Battlestar Galatica Razor on the big screen — the SciFi network sponsored advance screening events in select cities on Nov. 12. It was blow your mind amazing, and seeing it on a giant movie theater screen made it even more so. I had very high expectations, and Razor exceeded those expectations big time. It really is that good. The two-hour episode premieres on television on Saturday, Nov. 24. If you are a Battlestar Galactica fan, you already know this. If you are not yet a fan, I do advise that you use this weekend and part of the Thanksgiving holiday to rent ALL three seasons and catch up, so that you can watch Razor fully informed when it premieres on the 24th.
The gear-up for the special 2-hour episode of Battlestar Galactica has begun! “Razor” will premiere on Saturday, Nov. 24, but similar to the webisodes they showed online before the premiere episode of the last season, SciFi.com will show a weekly “flashback” thru Nov. 16, which will provide further backstory to the Razor episode. If you are a BG fan, you are probably already aware of these flashback webisodes and the air date of the special episode. If you are not a fan, queue up Battlestar Galactica and get caught up! Even if you have a thing against science fiction, you will not be disappointed. This is an amazing show, and I can’t recommend it enough. Rates right up there with Freaks and Geeks, The Wire, and The Office (British version).
